Question Nahpui Quarter Help

Heey,

Ok so, i have my fabulous ritualist at the nahpui quarter mish in factions but..no matter how much i try, with different people, starting at different places, i ALWAYS lose..i have beaten it with my monk and ele but it took awile with them too.
I think starting at the pheonix is easiest, then the turtle, then dragon, then kirin last. Does it matter which way i go

Please and thank you,

~Rosa

Nooooooo no no no no.

Leave Mr. Phoenix until last, he spreads Conjure Phantasm around, interrupts, steals energy from your casters and...generally isn't nice.

In my opinion this mission is generally easiest going Monk (Kirin) > Necro (Turtle) > Ele (Dragon) > Mesmer (Phoenix).

Of course, Henchmen are always easier than humans. If you can get heroes by tottering over to Eye of the North or Elona I suggest you do that also. If I were going all hench I would be tempted to take Jamei, Sister Tai, Cynn, Kai Ying, Talon, Eve and Professor Gai. With you using Channeling Magic.

Also, if you use Henchmen, Ping who you're attacking...the hench should follow. Try to take out the turtles quickly since they love to remove enchantments...then work on the kirins / Star Lights, since they can heal (though not that well), then move onto everything else.

If you don't care about masters, do this:

Take the left hand side portal and kill everything that isn't a BOSS. Then, walk over to the next Boss and keep killing things, except the Boss. Eventually you endup at the 4th boss (killing all the stars around each of the 3 other bosses). Once you are at the Kirin, kill the boss, retrace your steps to the other 3 bosses. Then you kill the bosses and whatever spawns come out. That way, you don't have to fight as many when you kill the bosses. It takes time, but its easy.

Otherwise, yes, kill the Kirin first and make your way to the Pheonix at the end. SoJ (Signet version) isn't much, compared to Mesmer powers, so it's easier to face through out the mission.

This one's really frustrating me too. I'm beginning to think that it might be better to search about for more elite skills or better weapons and armour. As an Assassin, if I die and get ressurected a few times then my health plumets easily.

I admit that with my Assassin, I was in a PUG.

The method I mentioned above I did it with henchies and my Ranger. No heros at the time.

You'll need to venture further for better elites. Do you have max armor?

If you guys need help, add me to friends list: Dargorth Alfazul.

I'll help, just pm me if you see me on-line.

For the extra points in spawning, it wont make much difference to Bloodsong for the duration of the fights you'll be in. Bloodsong is there so your skills work well, not really for the damage it will do.

If you're using Channelled Strike, please remember, it's not really worth the time without an Item spell...and even then it's ropey. I would suggest, instead of Mend Body and Soul, perhaps putting points into Restoration and taking [wiki]Generous was Tsungrai[/wiki], or points in Communing for [wiki]Mighty was Vorizun[/wiki] to make Channelled Strike work better. I prefer the latter...+armor and +energy.

I believe so. I checked wiki for the armour ratings on the elite armour to find that they're about the same. Which in turn made me feel like I'll solely be grinding for them and spending a *-load of cash on them just for the look.

I've been buying and replacing my skills quite a bit, so I think I've got a better set now. Still only the one elite, but I'm still not entirely satisfied. So I've decided to play GWEN until I've got a better range of skills, weapons and maybe heroes.

Default Mastered Nahpui Quarter

I just got masters with my Ritualist. 1 more to go for Protector of Cantha.

This is how I did it:

Rit/Me - Ancestor's Rage, Channeled Strike, Destruction, Essence Strike, Spirit Rift, Grasping Was Kurrong (e), Signet of Capture, Flesh Of My Flesh

Talkora - Mo/E - Protect Monk
Sousuke - E/Mo - Nuker
Olais - N/Mo - MM
Silverwing
Healing Monk
Devona
Healing Monk

You can sub the elite for anything.

Went for Mesmer first (as I wanted to cap), then I figured I'd see how far I could go and how fast. I ended up with Masters doing this.

If you don't have heros, let me know, I'll help you (I still have to cap the ele boss's elite )

We always did right to left...did masters in both normal and hard mode in 1 try with no deaths, 2 real people rest heroes....

Very simple....mes, ele, turtle, monk i believe was our order.

2 Monks (3 for HM)

Just PM me in game. I'll run the mission for you.

I discourage this type of behavior normally, but for inexperience players, this mission is difficult due to the lack of good elites available and the general dumbass nature of most whammos spamming lfg in the mission lobby.

Still haven't done it. Though one of my better tries was when I had henches & heroes. I got 3/4 killed when I realised my monk hero was dead and nobody was ressurecting him. Though I picked up a group right after that which died tackling Kirin first, which kinda ticked me off.

I'm just gonna re-tool and retry until I crack it. If not I've got people in my guild always willing to help.
